Covance –D Tab (Losartan, Hydrochlorothiazide) 

Covance –D is made by Sun Pharma and is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It is a combination of two medicines namely Losartan which is 50mg by volume and Hydrochlorothiazide which is 12.5mg by volume. Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker(ARB) and blocks the hormone angiotensin by relaxing blood vessels. This allows the blood to flow more smoothly than before and makes heart to pump more efficiently.  
 Side effects caused by this are nausea, taste change, stomach upset, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, weakness, decreased blood pressure, increased blood uric acid, increased blood lipid level.
